How to get a contactless enabled card

If your existing card is not contactless enabled, you don't have to worry, as a new contactless card will be issued when your existing card expires.

If you can't wait, and want a contactless card now, you can cancel your existing card now and order a new one at your closest branch or via online banking

Don't have an FNB card? Apply on the Banking App, via Online Banking, or visit your nearest branch.

Personal Cheque Card Replacement fee is P72.00 and Business Cheque Card Replacement fee is P72.50. Personal Credit Card Replacement fee is P90.10 and Business Credit Card Replacement fee is P114.05

Currently FNB Pay Checkout is only available on the eBucks website, however will be extended to other platforms and merchants.

What does it cost?

There are no fees or charges for using the service.

Is it secure?

Yes, FNB Pay Checkout uses the latest technology to secure the transaction and negates the need for capturing sensitive card information. All you need to do is select the card to pay with using the secure FNB Banking App. The resulting transaction is fully 3D Secure compliant ensuring the relevant protections for both the cardholder and merchant.

When you tap your card on the contactless card machine, your card information is transmitted and your purchase can be processed. It's safe, simple and fast.

Pay your way in 3 easy steps

Step 1

Look out for the contactless symbol in-store and on the card machine.



Step 2

Once you are ready to pay, just tap your card on the card machine.



Step 3

The transaction is complete when the green light displays.

Your contactless card is accepted at retailers locally and internationally displaying the contactless symbol.

As an additional security feature, you will be required to enter your PIN.

If you are making an international contactless payment, the contactless payment may vary depending on the destination country.
